VIP TABLE SERVICE
Doors open at 5:00PM each day and the show will end at approximately 12:00 midnight. The festival schedule will be released through our website and social media closer to the festival date.
ENTRY TO THE FESTIVAL
General entry to the venue is through Gate C (closest to Rogers Arena). There will be two search lines available. The first line will start at Gate B for guests arriving from the direction of Robson St., and the second line will start by Griffiths Way which is located at street level between Rogers Arena and BC Place. Pre-screening will start at 4:30PM, at the Gate B tent, each day. Doors to the event will open at 5:00PM. See below for VIP entry details. For your safety, Security staff will conduct a thorough screening including bag check and pat-down upon entering at Gate B & C. Prohibited items will be confiscated and Security staff reserve the right to refuse entry to those in violation of BC Place and CONTACT Winter Music Festival policy. Guests may be asked to provide picture ID based on observable concerns for public safety, and BC Place may deny entry on that basis. You can help reduce wait times by reviewing the guest policies, being prepared and arriving early. Please find additional information outlined in detail below.
VIP TICKET HOLDER ENTRY
VIP ticket holders can enter through a VIP express entrance at Gate C. This entrance will be accessible off Griffiths Way (street level between Rogers Arena and BC Place). If you arrive at the event from the Robson St. side, please use the public pass-through to the left of the general lineup at Gate B, and make your way over to the VIP entrance at Griffiths Way. VIP guests will enter through the same floor access points as the general public and make their way to the VIP area from the floor. VIP coat check is available inside the VIP area on the floor. Regular ticket holders can purchase an upgrade to VIP – please see the VIP guest service desk located on the floor near the VIP area entrance.
Two day ticket holders will receive a wristband when entering BC Place. One day ticket holders do not require a wristband. Your two day wristband will grant you entry into the second day of the festival without needing another ticket. Please note that 2 day wristbands are non-transferable and must not be tampered with, cut or removed. If your wristband looks tampered with on entry, you could be denied on Dec 27.
WILL CALL – PICK UP AT THE FESTIVAL
It is strongly recommended that tickets are printed in advance to avoid lineups on the day of the event. The Ticketmaster Box Office located at 765 Pacific Blvd will be open for advanced pick up Monday to Friday from 9:00AM – 5:00PM. Holidays hours for the box office are as follows:
Dec 23: 9:00AM – 12:00PM
Dec 24 & 25: Closed
Dec 26 & 27: Gate A Box Office will open at 2:30PM.
Dec 26 & 27 – On the show days, if someone has left hard-copy tickets for you to pick-up, please go to the Gate A Box Office.
To pick up your tickets at the venue you will need your confirmation number, photo ID, and the credit card used to purchase the tickets. All guest list and media tickets will be located at Gate A for pick up. There will be a separate line set up for VIP ticket pick up at Gate A. Ticket issues will be resolved at the Gate C Box Office, which opens at 4:30PM.
For wheelchair entry, please access BC Place through Gate H. From there, BC Place staff will escort you to your viewing location. Elevator service is available. Limited accessible parking is available.
COAT CHECK & LOCKERS
Large bags, purses, backpacks or bulky items including large coats must be checked upon entry. Coat Check for other items will be located inside, near Section 219. All items must be picked up by the end of each night.

In addition to the coat check, lockers can be purchased for your use and includes both days of the festival. The lockers include universal cellphone chargers. They are located on the upper concourse between the entrance and the #FVDED Stage.
Guests are required to pass through security screening upon entry to the venue. Screenings will include a bag check and/or pat-down search. Refusal to submit to the security screening will result in denial of entry to the venue. Guests may be asked to provide picture ID based on observable concerns for public safety, and BC Place may deny entry on that basis. Any guest that is denied entry or removed for any violation of facility rules will not be issued a refund and may be prohibited from returning for the second night.
Prohibited items will be confiscated and Security staff reserve the right to refuse entry to those in violation of the event policy. Prohibited items include (but are not limited to) the following: Alcoholic Beverages, Flasks, Illegal Drugs, Drug Paraphernalia, Sharp Objects, Weapons, and Projectiles of any kind, Camera with Detachable Lens, Video Recording Equipment including Go-Pro devices, Selfie Sticks, Outside Food & Beverage, Cans, Non-Approved Bottles (see Water Bottle policy below), Glow Sticks, Candy, Gum, Pacifiers, Masks, Camel-backs, Bota Bags, Hula Hoops, Stuffed Animals or Dolls (including plush backpacks), Balloons, Balls, Inflatables, Frisbees or any other items which could compromise public safety and/or harm the reputation of the event. Incendiary devices (e.g. fireworks, smoke bombs, etc.) or poles of any sort. Gang affiliated clothing, Marking devices (graffiti), Open packs of cigarettes or unsealed tampons or feminine hygiene products, e-cigarettes and vaporizers, laser pointers, large chains or spiked jewelry. Bags larger than those shown in the picture above will not be permitted into the venue and will have a mandatory coat check (please see above for coat check information). Any other items deemed to be illegal or potentially hazardous to others.
PYROTECHNICS, HAZE AND/OR STROBE LIGHTS
Please note that pyrotechnics, haze and strobe lights will be used during the concert.
MASKS, INCLUDING MARSHMELLO MASKS
As a condition of entry, security will inspect all parts of the mask. Refusal to submit the mask for enhanced screening will result in denied entry to the venue. The mask must meet all requirements of the prohibited items list. For example, the mask must not be made of materials that could compromise public safety, or create a risk to other guests. The mask must not contain any sealed cavities. Prior to entering the regular entrance lines on the exterior of BC Place, Hosting and Security staff will direct guests to a specific line for an enhanced search. Once the mask has been searched and approved, the guest will be permitted entry with the mask. The mask can only be worn on the main event floor and the Gate E event area only. The mask must not be worn in any other area inside the venue, including Food Court and concourses. Guests wearing masks of any type inside the venue (outside the main floor and the Gate E event area) will have the mask removed, and may be evicted from the venue.
Surrendered items cannot be collected from the Stadium post event, December 27. All surrendered items will be managed by Blueprint post event. Guests with Day 2 tickets can claim their lost item from Guest Services located at section 234.
One EMPTY clear, soft-sided plastic water bottle with NO CAP will be permitted per person. Permitted bottles can be filled from water fountains inside the venue.
LOST AND FOUND
We will have a lost and found and information booth at the venue, please proceed to the concourse at section 234 to see if your item has been turned in. After the event, email email@example.com to see if we have the missing item.
UNACCOMPANIED CHILD POLICY
Guests aged 14 and over can attend without supervision. Guests aged 13 and under must be accompanied by a paying guest aged 16 or older. Guests aged 16 and older can be designated supervisors for more than one Guest 13 or under. Guests aged 15 or under cannot supervise a Guest that is 13 or under.
PARENT AND GUARDIAN WAITING AREA
Parent and Guardian Waiting Area is located inside Gate H from 5pm to midnight for both days. Please note, parents and guardians are welcome to enter and leave the waiting area, however there is no access into the bowl for the concert.
A range of CONTACT merchandise will be available for purchase inside the venue that includes, hoodies, shirts, hats, headbands, toques and much more. Merchandise will be available at Section 153 (on the right when facing the stage) and on the show floor (cash, debit & credit accepted).
ATM’s are located in the following areas: Section 116 (Food court area) Section 154 and Section 233.
Guests may use personal cameras and mobile phones to take photos inside the venue. Cameras with detachable lenses will not be permitted. Video cameras or video recording devices are not permitted at the event.

Vehicle parking in lots closest to the stadium ranges from $10 to $25 during event times. Downtown parking lots range from $3 to $6 for evening parking.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE
A selection of food and beverage will be available for purchase throughout the venue. Permanent concession stands accept credit card and cash. Portable stands accept cash only.
Alcoholic beverages will be available to patrons who are 19+ and provide two valid pieces of ID at our check-point locations. A valid 19+ wristband and handstamp are required to purchase alcohol. Guests in possession of one but not the other will be denied alcohol. 19+ wristband and handstamps can be validated at section 231 and on the floor in section 106. There is a limit of 1 drink purchase per person at a time.
BC Place is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is prohibited on stadium property, including external plazas. There are no designated smoking areas.Please note e-cigarettes and vaporizers will not be permitted into the venue.
There are no in/out privileges once inside the stadium, except for emergency purposes.

A taxi stand is located at the Plaza of Nations on Pacific Boulevard. Guests are asked to cross Pacific Boulevard via the overhead walkway, which can be accessed from the outer concourse near Gate E (near section 235).
There are three exit points after the concert:
1. Level 1 East Door – this is located off the main floor on the East side of BC Place. Guests using this exit will exit onto Griffiths Way
2. Gates C & D: exit onto the outer concourse of BC Place on the Griffiths Way side of the stadium
3. Gate A – available only to those who are collecting items from Coat Check
Collect your checked items then follow Ramp 216 to access the exit the venue at Gate A. Guests will exit BC Place at Terry Fox Plaza. Please note that once you exit you cannot re-enter BC Place. If you are picking up items from Coat Check, please ensure you go there after the concert as you will not be permitted to re-enter to pick up your items once you leave the stadium.
For 20 years covenant house Vancouver has been a safe haven for homeless and at-risk youth in Vancouver. On any given night there are an estimated 500 to 1,000 homeless young people living on the streets of Vancouver. Most of these youth are there by no fault of their own after experiencing abuse, neglect and/or trauma in their lives. Covenant house Vancouver offers a clear exit from life on the street to young people aged 16 to 24. We are proud to have covenant house on the festival as a community partner this year. There will be a donation centre inside the main entrance to the venue where you can donate any unwanted layers of clothes, and make financial donations via cash or credit. Unclaimed lost & found items will also be donated to covenant house at a later date. These donations go directly to providing food, shelter, clothing and counselling to help youth in need.
